Year 12 finishes in November, and the school leavers who have work lined up by Christmas are almost never the luckiest ones. They are the ones who started moving in September and October, while everyone else was waiting until after exams. Whether next year for you means uni, an apprenticeship, a gap year or just earning money while you figure it out, the playbook for the next few months is the same.
September and October: move while you are still at school
Three things are worth doing before school ends, and all of them fit around study:
- Apply for Christmas casual roles now.
